I do get so very tired of constantly reading labels. So many vegan foods contain gluten that it's a bit of a trial when I go shopping. I do have some go to products I adore. I usually shop in Tesco, but am fully prepared to travel further afield to nab something delicious. For instance, Sainsbury's do a gluten free vegan pizza which I try to pop in and pick up the rare time I pass the store.
For me, Beyond Burger (plant based burgers by Beyond Meat) are my absolute favourite. It's plant alchemy. Pricey by supermarket standards but oh so worth it. I've discovered in my local supermarket that my prized packet of 2 burgers is currently £1.60 cheaper if I buy frozen rather than fresh... exactly the same packet! I swear you could present this in a burger to a meat eater and they wouldn't know the difference. Juicy, tasty and fabulous texture. I adore these - it's my weekly junk food treat. What do you recommend?
